The term “microblading” can be confusing.
Microblading is a permanent makeup technique that uses a set of nanoneedles arranged at an angle (which mimics the look of a blade) to hand draw individual hair strokes. Microblading originated in Asia and has since gone by many names including microstroking, feather tattooing, eyebrow tattooing, “the Japanese Method,” feathering, hair stroking, and more.
